This luxe Sicilian shop sells candles, scents and essences inspired by the lush tropical climes of Sicily. My favourite scent for summer is the Orange Blossom which conjures up lush, heady lazy afternoons basking in the sunshine. Heaven scent.

90s Revival: 'Nice Stems'
I have already been predicting a full-scale 90s revival here for a few months now ... and I want to remember the movie which captured the decade's penchant for preppy peppiness to perfection: Clueless (obvi!). From collar shirts, to knee high socks (set to the soundtrack of The Cranberries), the film definitively captured a sartorial moment in time.
One of my favourite scenes in the entire film is when the camera pans in on Cher's perfect pins and white t-bar mary janes.

Violet Darkling
My latest discovery is jewelery designer Violet Darkling. New Zealand designer Louisa Richwhite has fused the concepts of delicate jewelery with her love of the nocturnal and creatures only seen at night, using a mix of gold, silver and gemstones to create pieces which are beautifully handcrafted and extremely eye catching. Loves it!!!

Winter Warmers
London. Winter has officially arrived and is here to stay (for a while at least!). The leaves have fallen from the trees, the air is chill and crisp, people are adding logs to the fire and thoughts are turning to Christmas time, mistletoe and wine. As the festive season approaches, the fashion magazines fill their glossy pages with promise and glitzy cocktail dresses (yes, please!) But what is the best way to keep warm between parties? Here are some of my favourite ways to wrap up this winter.
1. Fur
Fake or real (vintage or inherited, obviously!). Head to markets, granny's closet or even the high street (Zara in particular have done a great range)
2. Military
This is always a winner (polish those brass buttons!)
3. Capes
Love the drama!
Complete the look with gloves (I like leather); and a hat (trilby, fur trapper, cloche.....the options are limitless)! So cosy.

Saturday Morning Inspiration

Today I am loving these stunning necklaces by English jewellery designer Lucy Hutchings. I have always loved anything art deco, from architectural examples like the Oxo Tower and Battersea Power Station in London, to designs in interiors and fashion so I can see why Hutchings was inspired to create these pieces. These necklaces would surely provide a show-stopping addition to any outfit, whether dressing up a more casual look by day or adding some high octane glamour at cocktail hour.
