With her first graduate collection under her belt, 24 year old Eleanor Amoroso is now set to make her impact on the fashion world. What makes Amoroso so unique is that she personally created the entire collection using the 13th century Arabic technique of macrame, which is when the fabric is knotted by hand rather than sewn or knitted. How wonderfully old school. The collection is powerful, fierce and confident, as can be seen from the sweeping dramatic fringing and the strength of the statement necklines and jewellery. Part of her inspiration for the designs came from African tribal clothing so this is a label for any modern-day urban warrior princess.
